under Edgy. Steps to reproduce:
1. Plug in Creative NX
2. Check DMESG shows the following:

Have just found that Windows is also bombing out on this machine so I

Just installed the Feisty Beta. With compiz 1:0.3.6-1ubuntu11 enabled,
using ctrl-alt-shift-[right|left] moves the window to the next workspace
but then it loses focus, so you can't press right again to move it to
the next workspace. Without desktop effects enabled this works.

There was no player known for this file. I have the necessary codecs for
windows media player, so browsing to /usr/bin/totem in firefox caused
totem to fire up

(2006-10-09). I'm running a core 2 duo laptop with an Intel 945GM
graphics card. Previous to this apt-get upgrade Beryl ran beautifully,
now when I activate it my machine is slowed down by thousands of syslog
