formatted as ext4 at install.
Commands which alter or move large files lock the whole system such that
web browsers, system monitor, IM, etc. become non-responsive and gray
out.

I've encountered this bug live booting a 9.10 live usb.
I have nvidia graphics, but they're running on the 'open' driver off the live
usb.
I do not have ECC memory, and if my bios allows it to be enabled it's
hidden somewhere in the depths of menus I don't understand.

I just ran into this bug on intrepid alpha 6.
Funny thing is that gltron was working properly and now all of a sudden keys
don't work, go to change keys, quits on trying to configure keys.
Quits a few times trying to configure keys, then works again only keys have now
been reset to defaults.

I have the same problem on a system I upgraded to edgy from dapper.
I have a turion 64, but it is the 32-bit Ubuntu.

runs fine for a few minutes after login, and then out of the blue starts
eating all my system memory to the point that all my memory
The process "beagled-helper" ID 5969 on my system runs fine for the
first few minutes after booting into desktop, but all of a sudden it
will suddenly start eating up all my memory, going from something like
8-14 megs to being with to taking up ALL of my system's RAM, like 1000+
megs...
Related?
Yeah, my system is working after a ton fixing the automatic update, and
the bugs with the live CD seem to be just another example of 2 or 3
already known bugs, so I'll be ignoring it for now.
