I would like to report that my Dell Latitude D620 with Intel 945GM
graphics has been running very warm since my upgrade to Lucid. In my
case it seems like the system fan is not coming on as frequently as it
used to in Karmic.

I am also seeing this behavior under Jaunty with my Canon SD200 digital
camera connected via USB. Bug #386098 was marked as invalid due to my
stacktrace not being useful. Hopefully this report has better
information?

I have the same problem, only it mounts my camera properly, but crashes
when unmounting it. I'm running Jaunty with a Canon SD200 digital camera
connected via USB.

If it is the case that you have broken packages that need to be removed,
here is one way to do it:
If you run System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager (to do so
you'll be prompted for your password) you'll see a column on the left
side of the synaptic window which lists All / Broken / Comm
