After using Browse Network in thunar and clicking on a machine name with
samba shares the following message is displayed: Failed to retrieve
share list from server: File exists.
Previously in Ubuntu 16.04, instead of getting this error message, a
popup window is displayed all
I bought a dvi-hdmi adapter and I am now able to activate the second
display on the radeon hd 3450. So, it looks like VGA and DVI video out
are working, HDMI video is not.

I also have a Radeon HD3450 connected via HDMI. However, that reporter
seems to experience intermittent issues and in my case the monitor never
gets output.

I can confirm this also. I have an ext3 filesystem and all updates have
been applied since 8.04 Beta.
After doing a rm -rf ~/.local/share/Trash/* and verifying there is
nothing in there the icon still shows trash in the bin.
