I know how to compile my own now, thanks rubin110, but it's far more
convenient to not have to waste my time building a kernel.

I've been trying to figure out what's going on with my external display
port screens with no luckbut I think I'm getting closer to the right
direction.
I upgraded to the latest 13.10 build and turned on DRM debugging with:
# /etc/modprobe.d/drm.conf
# We are turning on d
I'm seeing this as well.
I tried the poll fix and this helped with the random blanking, but now
the monitors go into power save mode after some time and don't come back
unless I re-plug.
Any ideas? I'm running on 13.04, so a little newer than this original
poster.
