The bug post was about excessive RAM usage leading to swapping. High CPU usage
shouldn't be a problem. Moreover pdftoraster takes more time than other
filters. Try using gstoraster for faster compilation.

Yes pdftoraster uses higher memory. For the test12.pdf it consumed about 30%
RAM for a 4GB OS. It also takes significant time to do the job but it is way
more for your case. This will be sorted out soon in the next releases of
cups-filters which would be coming with cups package for debian

I am facing this very same problem at my place rhythumbox turns
unresponsive and Gray in shade when i click in browser window in order
to browse my songs from my local hard drive .. earlier i thought this
might occurred due to overloading on Linux box .. so i killed all the
process but i don't
it worked thanks a lot!!! :)
i hope this will be added to main repository soon as an update!!

I have the following _two_ video cards installed on my machine
VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc 3D Rage LT Pro (rev dc)
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics
Controller (rev 02)
On Gutsy I had a perfectly working Dual Monitor
Got the same problem with Intel Pro BG9435 wireless card. Once I reset
the AP , it connects but next restart it keeps throwing the message
below in /var/log/messages.

/com/redhat/dhcp/wlan0 for sub-path wlan0.dbus.get
It seems that when I write it as things don't work, where as if I
write things do work. Maybe the documentation is wrong?

I confirm this. This is the same problem with my machine too. I got the
