Public bug reported: Whenever I'm transferring files, there is an increase in CPU usage considerably and the laptop heats up. Initially i thought it's a Nautilus own issue, when i used dolphin same thing is happening. I was copying a .mkv file (6GB) in size (though this problem is occurring for all file sizes) to external harddisk whose file system is NTFS. Then i tried copying within same ext4 file system i.e from downloads folder to Document folder, the CPU usage shot up again! A simple file transfer causing 40-50% CPU usage is upsetting.
