I've been running 20.10 since November 2020 and the pointer scribbling
just started up during the last week after an update or new software
installation. I'm not sure what might have caused it to start.
I can confirm that disabling Zoom in system settings/accessibility does
make it go away.

I've tried various drivers reported above to fix this over the last
year, but it still affects me too.

No bluetooth on startup. No Bluetooth adapters found.

Didier,
I continued working on this, but put the system in an unusable state
that would not boot. I ended up reloading 10.04 Desktop, as I needed to
use the machine. I am hoping that things will go better next month if I
do an upgrade.

I seem to remember the "Restricted Drivers in Use" window appearing.
Otherwise, is:
sudo apt-get install nvidia
sufficient to install all of the required drivers?
I'll work with it some more before uninstalling it, and I'll send you a
copy of lspci results.

I just finished a network upgrade of my Dell Latitude C840 to 10.04
tonight. Wireless didn't work when I rebooted, although I could see all
the access points in my neighborhood. I just couldn't connect.

Yes, I eventually figured out that my case is bug 86426, although I
still think that bug 124860 is related, although maybe not this
particular bug.
