I get The same thing with OOO and Cream. Both changing to "best shape"
and taking away the anti-aliasing in OOO works. But that is not a good
fix. I have attached a screenshot showing how it tries to incorporate
the top of my menu into the background of the menu. It is so weird!

In 9.04 I had the problem with my proxy and the applets not connecting
through it, the fix was easy. System -> Preferences -> Network Proxy
then add the proxy settings in manual proxy configuration, but selected
Automatic proxy configuration. It seemed as if the Applets only checked
the Manual Prox

My Bug is very much the same, but it only hangs until I give it an input
from the keyboard and then it power's down (like if I hit return or any
