Public bug reported:
The audio system has a regression since previous releases in Karmic 9.10

Whenever a sound is played, there is a full volume pop. I suspect this
has to do with new systems that put the sound card to sleep. The first

The system updates from October 14 have solved this issue. I can now
select the Suspend option from the main "Shutdown dialog". Suspend and
resume is working perfectly.
I still do not see a "Suspend" option in the new fast-user-switch
applet, but I'm not sure if it is supposed to be there or not.
The error "No video mode large enough for 800x600" looks to be coming
from SDL. I'm not sure if that sounds like it should be an error on your
computer?
If there is a file named ".angryddrc" file in your home directory, you

Correction.
Python 2.5's xml minidom Element does have a hasAttributes() method.
Perhaps the plugin is encountering a text node, which is not an xml
element?
The call the plugin is making still seems unnecessary.

This looks like a plain error with this plugin. The error in question is
in Python code calling "node.hasAttributes()" on an xml minidom node.
This hasAttributes is not a part of Python's minidom, and not mentioned
in the DOM level 1 documentation. http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-DOM-Level-1

This has been a problem with the last few herd Live CDs for Fiesty. I've

I believe the problem is with the kernel drivers for the cdrom.
All during boot there are long timeout errors
I would guess it should be easy to take a small cross section of users
that have been bogofiltering for awhile and collect all their ham info.
Then this could be shipped with the bogofilter as a reasonable starting
point.
Then again, I haven't looked into this sort of thing at all.
