I can't believe this is still going on. I no longer work in software
and have no use for this but as pointed out on other related pymssql
bugs I had this working many years ago and had a working version in my
bluetoad PPA. I'll just shake my head and unsubscribe from this!

I can confirm that the latest kernel release does suspend properly on
the Portege M500.
However, I checked out the changes made to the code after gusnz's comment about
the M3.
The patches had been refactored and some models were missed. These are the M3,
M7 and variation on the U200.The var
Ubuntu sets the values of this parameter depending if you are on AC
power.
Check to make sure you have laptop mode enabled on battery power. Then
run powertop wgile on battery power. You'll probably find that the
message will not occur any more.

Sorry. Looking at the datestamps I copied the second patch to the webserver but
not the recompiled packages.
I have since done a "clean" on my Feisty build to get some disk space. The
linux restricted modules I built was a cut down version since I don't use
ltmodem, ATI or NVideo video.

Paulo, I attached a GIT patch with my comment on 2007-08-10. Looking
at the patch I see there it doesn't have the U200 in the patch, however,
as you say it is trivial. Are you going to try it?

I can confirm this is happening with the Edgy RC Live CD. I have a
Toshiba Portege M500 (T2300 chipset 1.66GHz Core Duo). It's fine on the
