After renaming the .openoffice.org2 directory it worked again, so
probably some setting causes the crash.
Will try to reproduce the error.

I had a clean install of 6.10 on usb disk (/dev/sda)
installation:
- root partition: /dev/sda1
- home partition /dev/sda2

- grub installed on /dev/sda
