Thank you very much for your attention.
This bug is not reproducible after a reinstallation of ubuntu OS.
I reinstalled ubuntu on my laptop and didn't upgrade to the newer version of
XORG ( the previous xorg update rendered my machine almost useless ). I did
reinstall Xorg after i
help Are there any other details for me to enter? why is the bug
still marked as incomplete?

yes, this problem started to appear after i restarted the pc, following
upgrade.

I updated to the latest version of xorg yesterday ( may 18th 2011 ) -
xserver-xorg 1:7.6+4ubuntu3.1
Now, opening any qt based application ( or after the interface is open,
interacting with it ) crashes xorg, reboots and goes back to the login
screen

Hi Omer. I tried out the steps you have mentioned. And the problem seems
to persist. I guess the fix is a work in progress. i hope its fixed
before natty is released :)

I am using Ubuntu 11.04 Beta 2 with daily upgrades. The latest upgrade -
April 19th broke Compiz and is affecting unity
1. Enabling compiz features such as Wobbly windows, opacify, etc. and
disabling it, breaks unity in random. Such as, missing ico
It would be great if upon zooming, the launcher and panel are zoomed
into as well. This is very important as i used to use this a lot on
lucid, and need to access menus as well

I have also noticed this... using Nvidia binary driver here
I was using Lucid till three days ago. Enhanced zoom worked like a
charm.. in fact it used to help 'show off' ubuntu to people. I've
noticed that its become EXTREMELY slow on Natty Beta 2. This is a very
important usability issue. Please
