It appears the Elixir symbolic links in /usr/local/bin are deleted when
upgrading from 1.7.4-1 to 1.8.0-1.
Here is what the symbolic links looked like on version 1.7.4. They are
gone after the upgrade to 1.8.0-1.

When accessing a http basic authentication protected page the browser
does not prompt for a user name and password it simply displays the HTTP
Error 401 Unauthorized message. The browser should prompt the user for
credentials, set the Authorization header, etc...

XDMCP is handy in my shop at work. We use SunRay thin clients. From the
SunRay login prompt you can log in to an XDMCP capable machine via
Remote Login/Enter Host Name. See screen shot below.

Shell csh is not installed but it is listed in /etc/shells. Contents of
my /etc/shells file listed below:

envyng installation worked but now I don't have glx support. Tried "sudo
nvidia-xconfig" with a reboot but it didn't enable glx support.

Using envyng to install the drivers worked for me. I did the following:
sudo apt-get install envyng-core
Ctrl-Alt-F1
sudo /etc/init.d/gdm stop
envyng -t
Took option 1 - Install the NVIDIA driver
Wait for completion and took the reboot option

The Hauppauge HVR-1600 is not always detected. Sometimes if I shut the
computer all the way down it will work on the next boot. Also it seems
to work one time after moving the card to a different PCI slot. I will
