I tested Ubuntu 8.10 alpha 5 with the Livecd. Sound does work now with the default boot. There was some strangeness with playbacks but I doubt that's a kernel issue. I'm haven't upgraded to Ubuntu 8.10 yet so I can't say if the issue exists in 2.6.26. On Thu, Aug 28, 2008 at 11:16 PM, Leann Ogasaw
