Hey Chad, the browser doesn't crash, it is just unable to display any
page because in every page, including settings, aww snap error is shown.
Since the browser doesn't crash, the gdb stack is empty. How can I help

In my case at least, any apt update or installation terminates with
errors (see the bug description) so I don't know if an update would work
for me. As I mentioned earlier, updating working programs like firefox
makes them (afterwards) freeze on startup(beacuse the any update
terminates with error)
Am I the only one with the debsum errors and a unusable system? Should I
open another bug? In that case against which package? Or is the only
option to wipe everything out and reinstall Oneiric ?

I can still confirm this issue in Natty, after installing the latest
nvidia driver, ubuntu would log into gnome 2d. Apparently xorg.conf
wasn't changed so nvidia-settings recommended running "nvidia-xconfig".
Afterwards, I couldn't start X again (no login screen etc).

Debsums shows that everything is ok. I also reinstalled python-gobject but the
problem persists.
What can I try next? Many thanks.
in synaptic when I click on properties of python-object (which is installed
under the latest version), under "dependency of" it says "conflicts: python-gi"
"replaces: python-gi"
what does that mean?
dpkg --configure -a doesn't show any pending package.

I am running tangerine in Maverick. It does work if I specify a folder to
share but the option to find music in Banshee doesn't work. Eventough the
client discovers the stream, there are no tracks available.
