I have a laptop intel i3 CPU with Intel HD GPU with 6GB ram running
Ubuntu 10.10 64 bit.
I get the following error in dmesg:
[drm] MTRR allocation failed. Graphics performance may suffer.
When I run "mtrr-uncover" , I get the following:
Initial MTRR configuration:

I'm running VirtualBox 3.16 on Ubuntu 9.04 with a NOn PAE enabled kernel

If kqemu support is disabled in karmic, why are the kqemu-source and
kqemu-common packages available in the karmic repositories ?
I agree with Traumflug's comments - there are MANY multicore processors
shipping today that do not support KVM, plus of course, all of the lower
end processors.

I can get it to work ok on 32 bit , but on Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64 Desktop
version, it compiles and installs, but will not scan for available
network access points.

I just applied kang's patch to my Ubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid beta) system,
running kernel 2.6.27-7-generic, and I now have vmware-server 1.0.7
build-108231 installed and running succesfully.

packages:
linux-image-2.6.22-14-generic
linux-headers-2.6.22-14-generic
Then I ran "sudo depmod -a"
then I re-compiled gspca and thistime it worked ok when I ran "sudo
modprobe gspca"
