I am seeing frequent hangs of thunderbird. I have multiple, shared IMAP
accounts configured and several times a day thunderbird will comp

Thunderbird is still crashing, although I'm not sure if the bug is
related to Auto save. I have 4 email accounts in Thunderbird (3 IMAP, 1
POP), two of those are shared mailboxes that update with changes that
others make. I have a suspicion that this is contributing to the crashes
but can't say

Over the last 2 days, Thunderbird has frozen when I have left a draft
email open for a period of time. I am assuming that when Thunderbird
engages autosave for a draft message, that the process is somehow
broken.
