corruption on boot - again a common/known issue. On install, I have to
go to CLI, swap to vesa in xorg.conf, install the nvidia-bin
I too have had major issues with suspend and switching VTerms. I have
tried endless 'fixes' and got nowhere, and always ended up being told
the nvidia binary driver was at fault...
Surprise surprise, manually installing 100.x myself, everything works
beautifully... I know it's a widely reported pr

currently be installed manually from the nvidia.com .run file.

After disabling the scrobbling plugin, I can confirm the issue is

Therefore, the included scrobbler plugin, for some reason, is calling

Related problem: During normal usage, if I swap into a virtual terminal
(ctrl alt F1) and back to x again a few times, eventually x hangs with a
black screen and just a mouse cursor - Identical to the above if I try
switching in/out of virtual terminals after the system has hung.
Graphics problem
Have been informed this is probably a problem with the Ubuntu hardware
detection (Knoppix works fine), but it was expected to be fixed in
Fiesty...
Also, both installer discs pass the disc check - My current ubuntu
install came from the 6.10 disc and is just fine once I'd got the
drivers changed.
