I have a Dell Mini 10 (1012), and it has BCM2046 bluetooth, too. It sees
other bluetooth devices but always fails to connect.
The sanning works (it sees my samsunk c3050 phone):
$ hcitool scan
Scanning ...
60:D0:A9:8B:B8:13 C3050
$ hcitool dev

Recently i discovered that issuing the "sudo killall -TERM modem-
manager" command works as well. I think that the NetworkManager restarts
the modemmanager and that's why after the command everything works fine.

Try "sudo modprobe option", it worked for me. The module somehow does
not load automatically, so you have to load it manually.

I am using Karmic, and sometimes (50%) the x server fails to load at boot time.
I cannot switch to virtual terminals, and i have to poweroff it manually.
After rebooting, the /var/log/Xorg.0.log.old file is totally empty, it's size
is 0 byte.

The workaround in this bugreport worked for me and it is very similar to the
workaround above! The point is that you have to explicitly set the audio device

MPD version: 0.13.2
I have only one pulse audio library installed (libpulse0) because it is one of
the requirements of mpd. Because of this, i think it is not a pulseaudio
