I just upgraded my ubuntu from 14.04 to 16.04. During installation I
received this message
package friendly-recovery 0.2.31 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess
installed post-installation script returned error exit status 2
Then it automatically asked me to report the bug.

OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 7300 GS/PCI/SSE2/3DNOW!
OpenGL version string: 2.1.1 NVIDIA 100.14.19
GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap is being used here
unfortunately mine is on a fresh install of Gutsy

I googled around a bit and found out that the sound works if I edit
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
and add the line
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack
then sound works fine.
Please do this adjustedment in the alsa driver part of the kernel
for easy reference I have attached the output of lspci -vvnn
Oh yeah forgot to add, bug #90303 is similar to this

Here is the dmesg output, it does detect the and init sonypi module. This line
may be relevant. I do not know why fnkeyinit is off
