It seems there is a permission problem. I'm not sure I'll have time to
have a look at this in the next days but I'll try.

with dbus-send don't w

Can you check if one of these commands work?
$ gnome-session-quit --logout
$ dbus-send --session --type=method_call --print-reply

org.gnome.SessionManager.Logout uint32:0

I'm not sure this stacktrace will help fixing this bug but maybe Sebastien can
find something.
