My morning thoughts about "Default behavior for missing part set to
nobootwait" : in my opinion, this should not be done ! As if you are in
production system, your machine should only start if all prerequisites
are satisfied. Imagine what happens if you have /usr missing, with all
programs that sho

The desktop normal effects option reset my config to no plugins
And the extra effects reset to ring,blur,wobbly only
step to reproduce
1. Set the desktop effects to "No effects"
2. I set a list of active plugins : gconftool --set
I had my window decoration active until found something about active
plugins
If I activate "Normal Effects" I get no active plugins
$ gconftool --get /apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options/active_plugins
[]
I then activate "Extra effects"
$ gconftool --get /apps/compiz/general/allscreens/options
I can confirm what edschofield said, i have no window decoration with Intel
graphic chipset on Gusty Tribe 5.
it worked on the fresh install, but after updating it doesn't works anymore.

I tried to configure my wifi network by using network-admin instead of
network-manager. (NM works fine, but typing the password to unlock the
access to the wep key is not good for my mother...)

sudo module-assistant auto-install sl-modem-source
the debian package is remplaced by "sl-modem-
source_2.9.10+2.9.9d+e-pre2-5build1_i386.deb"

Hi,
I have the same problem with png files that comes from gnome-screeshot
(black page printed) and on tiff files that we receive by mail.
Apparently this seem to be corrected as I can see here, but it seem to
still happend on Edgy - eog 2.16.1-0ubuntu1.

This works for me to... If I manually add a leading space
(evolution 2.6.1)
