Same bug here. It happens intermittently when launching applications,
maximizing windows, closing multiple windows, after the screen saver is
activated, and occasionally when programs crash. I get windows with no
borders or title bar. Logging out and back in fixes it but, obviously I
can't do this
Hi, I'm getting the same bug as well. Additionally it's produced
duplicate tracks when I rescan my collection but not with all of them.
Mostly seems to be flac and mp3 tacks, though I'm not sure because of
the size of my collection.

Thus bug is still present in Intrepid Ibex. I can confirm that using Uk
dictionary does not fix the problem. I'm trying to use the US dictionary
and despite being marked it does not work. Only the format hack above
seems to work. I'm running ubuntu 8.10 with hunspell and aspell
dictionaries install
I second that motion. It's not needed to run Mathematica version 6.0.1
and up.

I can confirm this bug on Easy Peasy and Intrepid 8.10. Also on both
i386 and 64bit architecture.
