my wifi (BCM43228) was working fine on focal with kernel 5.8. generic
But when I updated to groovy wifi does not work neither on 5.10 nor 5.11
generic.
I tried a lot of things, but nothing worked so far. Also not the solution
described above. I get the messages:

lacking any experience with GTK, I had a quick peek at the source and
noticed that the text-tool calls sp_event_context_update_cursor in the
input event processing quite a bit, whereas select-tool does not do
that. Instead, select-tool calls gdk_window_set_cursor(window,...) in
the GDK_ENTER_NOTIFY
I have the same issue with inkscape 1.0beta1 (fe3e306, 2019-09-17) installed
via snap on Ubuntu 18.04.
But I noticed something potentially interesting though: for me, the *slowdown
only happens when the mouse cursor is inside the inkscape window*.

As with all the proceeding distros from ubuntu 16.10 the brightness of the OLED
screen canot be set. Since xrander is no more present there is also no hack
around this problem anymore. This bug is a killer for using the system as full

I'm using OS X with current Vagrant 1.8.1 and VirtualBox 5.0.18.
Because today is the release of Ubuntu 16.04 I wanted to give it a try and
failed. All other Ubuntu boxes from Canonical servers work here.

I've tested v3.18.14-vivid [1] and it works for me, the first 3.19
(3.19.0-16) version (the one shipping with vivid) does not.
Doing `iw reg set US` as a workaround seems to work though. N
