when using the latest VirtualBox from the standard Ubuntu repositories.
I didn't try the upstream packages, but that might explain why it does

I'm experiencing the same problem on a quantal installation on a
physical system without floppy drive (it has never had one). Since some
recent update, I think, because the launcher icon was there only after
me booting my machine this morning. (European time).

Arvind mailed me that he can't finish the packaging. Can someone
deassign him (looks like I can't)? For a new packager, this is the

I'm having the same problem in 11.04 using an onboard Radeon HD 3200
with the proprietary drivers enabled, so it's not an nvidia-only
problem. It's really annoying, notifications are completely unusable
this way.

There are two branches for Ubuntu packaging, the first,
lp:~flimm/openteacher/packaging is outdated. The second,
lp:~openteachermaintainers/openteacher/debian contains my packaging
work, but as I already said, I'm not sure if it meets Ubuntu quality
guidelines.

At this moment OpenTeacher 2.0 is still in beta, but it's already much
more stable then the older 1.0. Secondly, the 2.0 is planned to be
released before the end of the year.
The packages on our website are built by me, but I'm not fully sure if
they meet the quality guidelines of Ubuntu. (I'm new
