I've been experiencing softlocks for quite a while. Tried disabling
unused drivers, updating kernel, modifying grub. But after the kernel
update I got a hard hang.

run the feature flag upgrade once the new version makes it mandatory
(Not always but it seems in this latest case the feature flag was there
but optional)

and the issue has stopped happening for now.

Ok, I've got this happening right now. Unfortunately I can't screenshare
as this is my work machine with private information on screen, but if
you need any other info about the apps of environment I can capture it.
I have Element and Firefox open. The caret is in the Element chat. I
click on a lin
It doesn't happen consistently so it's hard to pin down exactly when its
happening, but one of my colleagues has Element and Firefox side-by-side
on the desktop, and it happens (sometimes) when Element has focus then
he clicks on the Firefox window.
If we can replicate it more consistently, I will

it might be useful information that we are using X11 sessions rather
than Wayland.

Using ubuntu 22.04 I have had a few users report that GDM is failing to
load(no login prompt either) after updates. Upon investigating after the
update to the new kernel Linux 6.8.0-48-generic, GDM is failing to load.
Reinstall failed systemctl status reporting all is running

upgrade`. Rebooting to the previous kernel fixed my problems. The

Note: I don't know if this is a nautilus issue or a dock issue, but it
only affects nautilus.
When using nautilus, after some time the dock 'dots' that show the
active instances seems to double up and my single window shows two dots.
This happens most times I use nautilus.
