i was on 12.10 beta, while upgrading to release the upgrade process
crashed and I am trying all ways to recover
please suggest how to recover from this crash

I discovered when this actually happens
when i connect dual monitors
if both monitors have same resolution no always on top bug will happen,
it happens only on ubuntu 2D session and when monitors resolutions are not the
same
actually i can't test on regular ubuntu session because the other screen
I can't login to the system using lightdm
i have to login through ssh from other PC and stop lightdm then start
gdm to be able to login
i can't even login to the recovery console from lightdm
I don't think it's log file permission problem because the files last
change date is today

on update i lost the touchpad click/doubleclick but i can use the buttons to
click left and right..
it's very annoying to lost the touchpad clicks
although it still scrolling vertically
FYI: the touchpad clicks into "Mouse configuration" is enabled
