I am having the same issue having upgrade from 17.04 to 17.10. I have a
Wacom Bamboo tablet and a Bluetooth mouse (I prefer to use only the
Wacom), and annoyingly, it seems the cursors work independently, one for
each device, but my Wacom cursor seems to disappear when using it.

I am chiming in as well. I have a Lenovo B510 All-in-one, i5 processors, 6GB
RAM, 1 TB hard drive, ATI Radeon 5570, and tried to dual boot 11.04 64 bit. It
wouldn't boot from CD/DVD, but booted through BIOS, and I didn't get any
further than the language/Try/Install when I got the lagging black

I have been having the same problem in Lucid for a week now, whether
using Evince or Adobe, but previously downloaded .pdfs I had on a backup
disk open fine. After downloading several .pdfs from Google Books and
Internet Archive with the same "File is damaged" error in both Evince

Same here, on Lucid LTS, but I am not able to open the same .pdf's in Adobe
Reader (latest version) either, so I am wondering if it is a dependency
