Hi there,
I got a pdf-file in which a diagramm is displayed wrong. Attached you'll find a
screenshot and the pdf-file. Possibly a problem with an overlay? gv shows the
pdf correctly.

tart pulseaudio in terminal via "pulseaudio -k" or reboot.
Now you can control your soundcard in the systemmixer (top right corner you
see a speakersymbol). There you have to choose the creativecard. Afterwards
you can set the properties according to your needs.

I'm also affected, Lucid Lynx with X-fi USB.
Sound works out of the box, adjusting daemon.conf enables surround-sound.
Hardware control doesn't work.
remote control doesn't work, too.

Built-in card reader doesn't work as well on my Acer Travelmate 6592. SD-cards
work fine, Memory Stick Pro Duo don't. Cardreader was well in Hardy, since
Intrepid it doesn't work any more (I think it's the kernel's fault?)
Kernel 2.6.31-5 doesn't work as well (Karmic).

I have an Acer Travelmate 6592 Notebook. In Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04
brightnesscontrol doesn't work. Neither the Applet in the panel nor the
Fn-Keys cann change brightnesslevel. On-screen-notification shows the
