I too have had success with Colin's patched kernel (#178) on my HP Mini 1000

/proc/asound/card0/codec#0 is consistent with what is expected.

Ok I did some investigating and on first boot, Fn+F5 works, after
suspend and hibernate, it doesn't.
So I looked at (eventually) the ACPI values in /proc/acpi/ibm/hotkey
On first boot the value is set to: enable,0xff
After resuming from suspend or hibernation the value had been changed to
0x

Hiya,
Does the 'radeon' driver support this now, or for dual screen configuration
on an ATI Mobility Radeon 7500; will I need to edit xorg.conf manually as
per usual?
Thanks,
Vicky

Hello,

Thank you Bryce, I know you're very busy so an immediate reply is not

Same here unfortunately using Banshee 0.13.1 on Ubuntu Feisty Fawn 7.04
Sorting by Album just produces random sorting orders meaning quite a few
albums have their tracks divided up by random stuff in between.
It would appear that sorting by album is in fact sorting by artist.

Possibly the same issue on my Mobility Radeon 7500 in my T40. Gutsy
boots fine and shows Gnome no problems. The tearing issue happens when I
start playing with display-config-gtk such as changing the driver or
configuring a second screen and then hitting Test. Completely jams up

:( Admittedly my ThinkPad boots to the correct resolution (1024x768) and
can change resolution fine (i.e.: to say 800x600 or 640x480) but
anything beyond this causes all sorts of issues.
I'll try to free up one of my spare hard disks today, install Gutsy and
then play about a bit more.

I am getting the exact same thing on my ThinkPad T40 with Mobility
