My hunch is that your Facebook photos are already in Shotwell from a
previous import and that's why you're seeing this message about photos
being already imported. Shotwell looks at the photo itself (and not the
filename) to determine duplicates.

I have updated the issue upstream at

more widespread. I am able to replicate on an HTC Evo running Android
2.3.3
