Hey, guess what? After today's "partial upgrade," this problem has
actually gotten worse! Now when I try to enable desktop effects (at ANY
level), not only do they definitely NOT turn on, but I lose all my
window borders too. And jockey-gtk still crashes. Oh, and compizconfig-

Been playing with this bug for a few minutes; jockey-gtk is still
crashing in the same way, but it sometimes falls back to Normal, and
sometimes to Extra (there is no Advanced, that was a typo). Still no
