I also have the same problem with remapping Alt-Esp to close windows and
Alt-F2 to switch to workspace two. The former does not do anything and
the latter switches to workspace two and opens the "Run Command" dialog
(to which it was mapped before).
I am running Unity 3.8.10.

An earlier message claims that this is fixed in Interpid/Jaunty. However I have
a Lenovo USB Webcam, and I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms in Jaunty.
1) Plugin in Webcam.
2) Microphone capture doesn't work
3) Stop HAL and replugin webcam
3) Microphone capture works
So is this bug really fi

also works in Jaunty.

I have the same problem on my laptop (Thinkpad X61), with all the latest
upgrades in the Interpid repositories. I also tried to compile the hdaps
module myself (from the tp_smapi sources) and that got it working
again...

I first installed lighttpd using aptitude and then I did sudo aptitude
install phpmyadmin and selected the option to automatically configure
lighttpd. Then I reloaded lighttpd as instructed, and finally pointed my
browser to http://localhost/ph
Needs this patch applied, because rhythmbox loads the HAL values after
they scanned the entire PSP memory stick, which is too late. Without
this fix, rhythmbox might crash.

I noticed that rhythmbox support PlayStation Portables, and it works pretty
well. However there is one problem. Rhythmbox tells to copy the files to /MUSIC
(which is correct), and then hal adds the audio_folders setting from
/usr/share/hal/fdi
First of all you need to edit /etc/defaults/hdaps file and change
DISK="hda" to DISK="sda", because thinkpad uses SATA drives. But I am
not sure if that will fix it because for me sda/queue/protect does not
exist either.
