An earlier message claims that this is fixed in Interpid/Jaunty. However I have a Lenovo USB Webcam, and I'm experiencing the exact same symptoms in Jaunty. 1) Plugin in Webcam. 2) Microphone capture doesn't work 3) Stop HAL and replugin webcam 3) Microphone capture works
