I was definitely confused before! I am now updating xmms2 from your
repo.
The only thing I can take from this 0.2 test is that when I first
installed xmms2 it put the mind.in.a.box track into the mlib wrong? So
when trying to reproduce the issue with one of my own tracks fails...

1) Ensure latest install of xmms2 from hardy is present
2) run: "killall xmms2d"

Same problem here, just for the record. I have a Compro T750, saa 7134
chipset...
I have reverted back to build 14 of the kernel for now.
What nevion has mentioned above is correct, it definitely has something
to do with the sound part of the tuner card...
