I was told that the modprobe visor was blacklisted and that is why I

I am experiencing a similar issue with my Sony CLie PEG-SJ30/U.
I am unable to synchronize my PDA upon initial set up.
Steps: 1) Configure Gnome-Pilot Settings
Add MyPDA with owner Name and ID Number.
Device Settings: Cradle, USB, Time out: 2, Device: /dev/pilot, Speed: 9600
