Same here... it's making my whole system unstable. Once the sound
starts having trouble, it bogs down the whole PC.

I truly appreciate the hard work that has went into the new Lucid
artwork. Recognizing that, the choice of aubergine as a color scheme
leaves ***much*** to be desired.

Also, in Ubuntu 9.04 64 bit if you turn off key repeat entirely in
System --> Preferences --> Keyboard the problem doesn't occur (although
you don't have key repeats anymore either).
