Tried installing Kubuntu Gutsy 7.10 onto a HP Pavilion a1323w. When booting
from the live disc i get a "[37.964147] Kernel Panic-not syncing: IO-APIC +
timer doesn't work". I tried with the following options by themselves
apic=debug, noapic, acpi = off, all with no results
Lockups with AMD64 4300 Dual Core and 7300, very random, but always
when calling GL. Hard crash power button reset. Setting back to NV
fixes. No way possible to get any reports. Going to try the new driver
from nvidia site.
