Strangely, the "wall" plugin offers an edge trigger delay. It can be
adjusted with CCSM.
However, this feature is secretly disabled in /usr/share/compiz/wall.xml
by four instances of true.
Please revise this frustrating decision and set
false.

false. It is somewhat insane to offer a delay option, also offer a delay

Same issue here in 0.9.13.0 (Debian package version
1:0.9.13.0+16.10.20160818.2-5). I modified wall.xml (as root), restarted
X (including Compiz), still no delay.

Same problem here. It helps to resize the window with the mouse once.
Afterwards every switch to fullscreen mode is no problem any more.

Same here on a fresh install of 9.10 AMD64 using ext4. Enabling block operation
debugging with
echo 1 > /proc/sys/vm/block_dump
There are lots of writes to blocks by kjournald2 and pdflush every few second
in dmesg (and thus /var/log/kern.log). This is only intermixed seldomly by

Same here with my Kyocera Mita FS-1010. The printer used to work
perfectly with Debian sid. Since I've installed Ubuntu 9.10 it doesn't
work properly.
It only likes to print the very first page. Most time this is not
complete, i.e. some of the text on the page is missing while the rest is
complete
