I had the problem after upgrade to 15.10 development version. The
problem was in the configuration files. If I did "sudo lightdm

"Seat:*" in various configuration files until lightdm stopped
complaining. After that the mouse cursor

I can confirm having exactly the same issue and also the part that issue
triggers independently of the checkbox state.

I use i3 as my WM at the moment. I have the following settings

activated (as expected).

I'm developing a library called libsmack and found this issue by reading
kernel code. Then I checked whether this issue is already fixed and
found the commit ID mentioned in the description.

Also, if I kill pulseaudio temporarily (I have autospawn disabled so I'm
able to kill with pulseaudio --kill) and play with mplayer, sound is
still crackling..

For me audio is fine when I play music with Chrome either with HTML5 or
Flash but when I play it with mplayer (with different -ao parameters) or
dragonplayer, the sound is choppy.

Side-note: thing to consider for kernel team is whether to enable
CONFIG_UPROBES or not. This would allow tracing user space code.

Side-note: I think it is a false claim to say that "we pull this from
GNOME 3". If you market your own UX, it's your call to make it work. If
something this essential for professional use that worked in previous
LTS does not work in the next LTS, it's a clear regression and there's
no way out of it

Public bug reported:
Proxy settings is missing two essential features:
* ignore list
* "use this for all" flag.
This renders the whole feature unusable because in a normal company
environment you have to specify ignore list and you often (not always
but very often) use "use this for all" flag.
Fix in #466 works for me. Thank you! I reported # 795349, which was
marked as duplicate for this.
