Public bug reported: I use i3 as my WM at the moment. I have the following settings /etc/default/keyboard:
XKBMODEL="pc105" XKBLAYOUT="us" XKBVARIANT="" XKBOPTIONS="compose:caps" - When I run sudo dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration these settings get activated (as expected). - When logout and login to my i3 session these settings stop working. - When I switch my login manager to GDM these settings work. I'm using Saucy so it might be also some new change in the unstable version (perhaps ConsoleKit to logind change?). ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1240830 Title: LightDM sets wrong keyboard settings for a session To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1240830/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
