i am sorry i cant do that upstream-testing, its not my computer and person who
usin Ubuntu on there isnt able to do it..
i know its lil hard way now to do something...but lets try, if it worked before

As u know in Sony Vaio we have 2 buttons to open a CD ROM, one normal,
and other one functional which is next to the keyboard. and that 2nd one

yep i have visual effects on, i have got installed compiz package
what i did now is removed that: .gconf/desktop/gnome/session/required_components

i will tell u what helped to solve the problem:
I removed sl-modem-daemon and sound is now working without having to do
sudo alsa force-reload
