I am having this issue as well. I can copy a file to the iDisk WebDAV
share, and it seems to complete without errors and actually appears in
the destination folder momentarily, but then disappears. There is no
error and nothing in the logs that I could find.

Using the Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty) beta, the onboard SATA on my Gateway
GT5637E, which uses an nVidia MCP61 chipset, does not seem to work
regardless of boot options.
The Gateway GT5673E is an AMD-based system; mine has a dual-core Athlon

I have identified an identical issue with Ubuntu 8.04.1 "Hardy", on a
Dell PowerEdge 2300 with a Sonnet Tempo ATA133 controller installed.
The Tempo is a 2-channel controller, based on the "Promise Technology,
Inc. 20269 (rev 02)." The controller was originally sold for use in a
Macintosh.
