Same as bug #1242679 when I resume from suspend networking is disabled.
I can use the workarounds on CLI to re-enable it, but only on CLI with
sudo. I cannot get it working using the panel applet.
Happy to collect more info if required to aid diagnosis.

This affects me too. I've got a netbook which only does 1024 x 600 and I
am unable to delete accounts because the button to do so is off the
bottom of the screen and I cannot manually move or resize the window.

I have the same problem, but on a 1024x600 netbook running 11.10. I've
not managed to find the appropriate controls in Unity to be able to
change the application font to try the suggested workaround.

scratch that, I've just run some updates today and it seems to be fixed.
I'm now on 11.04 since I originally posted, so not entirely sure what
has fixed it.

Yes, the machine is kept fully up to date on a daily basis and it has

Sound Stops when Chrome launches, but works in chrome

OK, after playing with it a little more I've discovered that it is not
starting google chrome that does this, but playing an embedded video (on
youtube, several but not tried any other site).

I simply tried to upgrade to the new Ubuntu 11.04 the day after it was
released. Now, the machine gets stuck during rebooting. It seems Samba
is the problem. I attempted to remove Samba using apt-get without any

usable.

Me too, this machine has had 9.04, 9.10, 10.04 & 10.10 all with the
wireless working, and now in Natty it doesn't work. Here's the output
from the apt-get line when I attempted to reinstall the drivers just in
case.

I'm not sure it is exactly the same as this, but my wireless (which
worked fine in Maverick) now cannot see my wireless router. It does pick
up some other wireless router nearby, but not my own. I know that my

window sounds' at the bottom of the 'Sound Effects' tab on System >
Preferences > Sound
Before that I could only get sound over HDMI through an aplay -D

I have several machines, one of them on Maverick and the others on
Lucid. All of them have the same problem. I can install the drivers, but
as soon as I run the update it wants to remove them because the
dependencies are not met.

rhythmbox issue directly - the ~/music directory was gone and instead in

OK, I've been looking at this some more. Today when connecting I have
noticed that if eth1 (the wireless card) is up then it inhibits routing
through usb0. Taking eth1 down sorts it out. However eth1 comes back up
automatically after a short period (a minute or so).

connection over a USB connection on an Acer Aspire D150 netbook. Am
