The freezes do not appear to be isolated to a specific user event. As

How do I change the system so that xorg-server will be recognized by
apport-collect?
Anytime I run apport-collect 574152 I get the same error message.
"Package xorg-server not installed and no hook available, ignoring"
So my question is What is missing from my system that is causing the
apport
Have we been able to determine if this bug is related to the similar
posting that I originally initiated by any chance?

I launched synaptic and selected the following packages for reinstall:
xorg
xserver-xorg-core
xserver-xorg
synaptic reinstalled these packages without any problem, so I tried to
collect the report once again.
