Well, but as far as I know Kubuntu 8.04 uses KDE3 as default desktop environment. And its core packages will be supported until April 2011, so some people may use it up to that date. I think fixing the packages [0] would have taken the same time it took replying to this report and marking the bug

I have the exact same problem, and suppose all Konqueror user have. What's more, I've found the solution. After several minutes, It was only a line in the file cited below. Search for the element (it already exists) and add the property (as root). /usr/share/kubuntu-default-settings/kde- profile/
