Public bug reported: The exact command I executed was "debian-builder --help". In fact, I cancelled the process as soon as I realised what was going on. The command showed me several packages names (I suppose all installed on my PC) and started to remove (also conffiles) all of them alphabetically. I stopped it with Ctrl+C, then had to configure all of them and finally install those which had been purged.
I had no real consequences (after all), but I don't know what the command tried to do. Also, I was just looking how to use the package, since I didn't know it. Later I will include the exact package version, as I am now at work. I have Kubuntu 7.10 up to date. ** Affects: debian-builder (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: debian-builder (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None => debian-builder ** Summary changed: - debian-build tried to remove the whole system + debian-builder tried to remove the whole system ** Description changed: - The exact command I executed was "debian-build --help".
