consolekit was somehow playing a trick on me.
The ck-list-sessions command provides the list of sessions. For some reason,
none of my sessions had "active = TRUE" - they were all "active = FALSE". I

On Hardy updated from 7.10 (updated from 7.04, itself updated from 6.10...).
When a first user logs in, they can automatically mount and unmount their USB
keys. Everything is fine with them.
When a second user logs in, they could use USB keys with 7.

I was trying to perform a desktop LTS - to - desktop LTS upgrade and
ended up with what looked like a depedency hell. In other words, a
window popped up and explained in (some form of) French that
dependencies could not be resolved, the upgrade failed and my system
reverted back to Dapper. I tried
I had the same problem with my Sony Clie (PEG-S360). A soft reset was
(fortunately) enough on the Clie, it would not make me lose any data.
Setting the timeout to 0 on gpilotd made my Clie synchronize again. It has
worked fine so far.
