Confirmed the bug (ShuttlePC, Intel Processor, ATI Graphics, R300
hardware)
Occured right after booting from the CD (Hardy Heron 8.04 Alpha) even before
any user input.
Repeated this step 3 times with the same result.

1. Choose Manual partitioner option.
2. In the next dialog box, delete all the existing partitions on the device
/dev/sda
3. Now highlight the "free space" option and choose "New Partition" button.
